This past Saturday Marilyn had a small surprise party for Kurt and boy was he surprised!! He thought we had lost our minds in our 80 garb. Fun was had by all!

Easter 2008

I love Easter. I love going to church on Easter morning and seeing everybody in their finest. I love the worship to God for his awesome power, I just love it all. (except maybe the plastic grass that goes in the kids baskets...)

Lily's Recheck

We just got back from our recheck this morning. He said we still had fluid on the ear and some infection. The doctor said that on a scale of 1-10 of intensity, Lily's is a 4. He labeled it as "not mild, but moderate." He also does not want her on any antibiotics for now but rather see what happens. (This doesn't make much sense to me so I guess we will have to wait and see.) Thanks so much to all my peeps who have said prayers and were so willing to reschedule lessons as part of my crazy life!!! I love you all!!

T-ball Practice

Our first practice! It was really windy and cold but we had so much fun. Abs hit the ball the first time on the tee! She is on an all girls softball (t-ball) league. Her team is the SunShine Girls. We practice on Mondays and Thursdays. A special shout out to Aunt Angie, Aunt Stephanie, Brodie, and Taylor for coming out to support!!

Update on Lily

I am so frustrated!! Today Lily has been vomiting and now has diarrhea. After trying to deal with it until after lunch, I decided I probably need to call the doctor just to ask what he thinks. The nurse returned my call to tell me that he thinks she has a stomach virus. You have got to be kidding me!!! She said to give her no juice, milk, or caffeine and to try "easy" foods, which I might add included yogurt. I didn't even feel like saying (once again) "She is dairy free, we can't eat yogurt." I told the nurse that is what we have been doing.
Please say a special prayer for us this weekend. We seem to be fine for a few hours and then "BAM" something else. I feel like I am just a crazy woman waiting for the next event.

Lily !!

Lily is a little better today! We still had a fever off and on (it was 101 this morning). We went to the doctor again this morning. He said the ear infection was about 50% better this morning. He gave her another Rocefin shot. He said to keep an eye on her and he wants to recheck her next Thursday. Pray we don't have to go back to the doctor until next Thursday!!!

Abs starts T-ball

Abs is starting t-ball on Monday. To say she is excited would not acurately describe the situation. She tells everyone that will slow down to listen. We will post pics after our first practice!
